About Melania Gardens

Melania Gardens is a holiday home based in Cyprus, created as a personal project for a friend looking to promote their property online. With limited assets and content available, the challenge was creating a website that still felt polished, welcoming, and trustworthy.

The goal was to design a simple experience that highlighted the property, local attractions, and booking information in a clear and engaging way. I approached the project with a clean single-page layout, warm visuals, and responsive functionality to ensure the site worked smoothly across all devices.

Branding

A relaxed visual identity designed to create a welcoming first impression

To support the website, I created a simple logo and visual style that reflected the calm and inviting atmosphere of the property. Soft gold tones paired with deep blues helped reinforce the Mediterranean setting while keeping the overall look clean and professional.

The branding was intentionally lightweight, allowing the photography and layout to remain the focus while still giving the property its own recognisable identity.

Web Design

A clean, responsive experience designed for effortless browsing

The website was built as a fully responsive single-page experience, making it easy for visitors to explore the property on desktop, tablet, or mobile. Clear content sections helped organise information around amenities, activities, and local attractions without overwhelming the user.

Large imagery, soft overlays, and subtle layout touches — including stacked polaroid-style photos — added warmth and personality while keeping the interface simple and easy to navigate.

Outcome

A polished digital presence across branding and web touchpoints

Although this was an informal project, the final result felt professional, approachable, and well suited to the holiday rental market. The combination of simple branding and clean web design helped transform limited content into a cohesive and engaging online presence.

The project was also a great opportunity to experiment creatively within constraints and focus on building a welcoming user experience from minimal assets.
