Hello There

UI Digital Designer, Front-End Developer, and lifelong creative based in Surrey, England.

I work across UI/UX design, branding, front-end development, illustration, and digital product design — creating everything from responsive websites and dashboards to badge systems, monograms, and nostalgic-inspired artwork.

I enjoy building digital experiences that feel approachable, thoughtful, and full of personality, blending structured design thinking with creativity, storytelling, and visual experimentation.

Outside of client work, I’m usually exploring side projects inspired by retro games, films, comics, animation, and the kind of 80s pop culture that probably rewired my brain at an early age.

Amazium Project

This is a project so close to my heart, I've been working on it for over 4 years and use it with almost every web project. Based on a 12 column grid it has everything you could need to make a site responsive but is as minimal as it could be too.

Designer & Developer? Yep, Both.

I’ve always enjoyed sitting between design and development — creating experiences that not only look good, but work beautifully too.

Understanding both sides of the process allows me to bridge the gap between visuals and functionality, helping ideas move smoothly from concept through to launch. Whether I’m designing interfaces, building responsive layouts, or refining the smallest UI detail, I care deeply about creating experiences that feel intuitive and polished.

Design will always be where it started for me though. Long before I wrote a single line of code, I was drawing, experimenting, and pulling things apart just to understand how they worked. Eventually curiosity led me into development, and I’ve been blending both disciplines ever since.

I’ve always believed the best creative work starts with curiosity and a little imagination. Whether it’s designing interfaces, building side projects, or experimenting with new ideas, I enjoy exploring the space where creativity and problem-solving overlap.

(According to my wife, I’m probably more dreamer than I’d ever admit.)

About me

Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From sketchbooks and Lego to digital illustration, branding, and UI design, I’ve always been drawn to making things.

Over the years, that passion evolved into a career focused on crafting thoughtful digital experiences across branding, websites, interfaces, and front-end development. I enjoy solving creative problems, refining user experiences, and building work that feels both functional and full of personality.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me watching films, collecting graphic tees, sketching, gaming, or getting lost in another overly ambitious side project.

Notable Clients

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a range of brands, businesses, and creative teams across branding, UI design, digital products, and front-end development.

Creative Skills & Specialties

I enjoy working across multiple creative disciplines — combining design, development, branding, illustration, and UI thinking to create digital experiences that feel thoughtful, engaging, and visually polished. From responsive websites and product interfaces to nostalgic-inspired branding projects and creative experiments, each area plays a role in how I approach problem-solving and storytelling.

  1. Website & UI Design

    Website & UI Design

I design clean, engaging digital experiences that balance aesthetics with usability. Whether it’s a portfolio site, marketing page, or product interface, I aim to create layouts that feel intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use.

Every design decision is made with clarity, flow, and user experience in mind.

  2. Branding & Identity

    Branding & Identity

I love building visual identities that feel distinctive, memorable, and full of personality. From logos and typography to colour systems and brand assets, I focus on creating cohesive identities that connect with people and tell a story.

Alongside client work, I also enjoy creating fictional brands, logo explorations, and nostalgic design concepts inspired by film, gaming, and pop culture.

  3. Web Development

    Web Development

I build clean, responsive front-end experiences with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainable code.

By combining design and development knowledge, I’m able to bring ideas to life in a way that stays visually consistent from concept through to implementation.

  4. Responsive Layout

    Responsive Layout

Responsive design has always been a huge part of how I work. I care about creating experiences that feel consistent and usable across every screen size — from large desktop displays to mobile devices.

Back in 2010, I created Amazium, a lightweight responsive framework built around flexible layouts and simplicity, helping shape the way I approached front-end design and development.

  5. Illustration & Digital Artwork

    Illustration & Digital Artwork

Illustration has always been a huge part of my creative process — from vector artwork and character design to badges, icons, and stylised digital experiments.

A lot of my personal work draws inspiration from retro games, animation, comics, and pop culture, allowing me to explore more playful and expressive visual ideas outside of traditional client projects.

  6. Creative Concepts & Side Projects

    Creative Concepts & Side Projects

Some of my favourite work comes from experimentation — creating fictional brands, nostalgic-inspired concepts, monograms, badge systems, and playful design ideas purely for the love of making things.

These projects give me space to explore new styles, refine ideas, and keep creativity moving outside of day-to-day client work.
