About Wanderlust Tours

Wanderlust Tours began as a fictional website concept created for use within a video production. The brief was intentionally simple — create a visually engaging website mock-up that prominently displayed two phone numbers while feeling believable and polished on screen.

With no existing branding or content constraints, the project became an opportunity to quickly build a bold visual identity and immersive landing page concept. Originally developed under the name “Space Holidays,” the idea later evolved into Wanderlust Tours to create a broader and more refined travel-focused identity.

The final concept focused on strong visuals, clean structure, and high-impact design elements that would immediately stand out within a fast-paced video environment.

Branding

A futuristic visual identity designed to capture attention

The branding explored a playful blend of futuristic travel aesthetics and bold promotional design. Large typography, high-contrast layouts, and vibrant gradients helped create an energetic identity that felt both modern and cinematic.

During development, the project evolved from “Space Holidays” into Wanderlust Tours — a shift that helped broaden the concept while still keeping subtle nods to adventure and exploration. The updated naming gave the brand a more polished and flexible personality without losing its imaginative tone.

Illustrations

Bringing the brand to life through playful sci-fi visuals

To help sell the fictional world behind Wanderlust Tours, I created a collection of custom space-themed illustrations and animated assets designed specifically for the website and video content.

The illustrations included stylised planets, environmental assets, icons, and space-inspired graphics that helped reinforce the futuristic travel theme while adding personality throughout the experience. A custom animated GIF was also developed to give the site additional movement and energy on screen.

The visual style leaned into bold colours, simplified shapes, and clean vector artwork, creating a cohesive aesthetic that felt both playful and cinematic without overwhelming the layout.

Web Design

A bold, high-contrast experience designed for instant visual impact

The website concept was intentionally designed to work as a strong visual prop within a video setting. The layout kept key information highly visible, with prominent phone numbers, simplified content structure, and clean navigation guiding attention naturally across the page.

Bright gradients, modern UI styling, and bold typography helped the site feel dynamic on screen, while the structured layout ensured the design remained clear and readable throughout.
